There are two sides of a complete and successful residual income business plan. On one side you want to be marketing affiliate products such as subscriptions, services and training materials for your industry. On the other side you have your primary direct sales business.
Many marketers will use the profits generated by the affiliate products to fund the advertising of their primary direct sales biz. Therefor creating a funded proposal, the ideal way to build a residual income business. By combining multiple income streams you can essentially create a self feeding system. A system with the right amount of humanity and automation makes for a profitable venture.
So the question is: How do I create a residual income business plan or system?
There are a few options. At the moment, there are at least two generic/personally branding funded marketing systems available to those in the MLM/direct sales industry. One is Jonathan Budd’s Empowered Entrepreneurs system and the other is Norbert Orlewicz.
Both systems allow you to brand yourself as well as markets various affiliate products to your prospects in the system. The idea is to position yourself as a leader in the eyes of your prospect, deliver real value and help them generate leads as well as affiliate commissions and ultimately introduce them to your primary direct sales business.
Either system qualifies as a residual income business plan as they both include affiliate marketing income streams as well your primary direct sales business.

Now, if you have the ability to create your own system I suggest you do so rather than use someone else’s system. Creating a system like this can be a little tricky, but with proper planning you could have it up and running in no time.

You primary focus should be on marketing the affiliate products as well as offering a free information product as an incentive for the prospect to sign up on your list. (thus the need for the autorepsonder service). Over the course of a few weeks, you educate and HELP your prospect improve upon their current business.
Once the relationship is established you can introduce or suggest your primary business opportunity. Because you have taken the time to develop and relationship and establish a certain level of trust with your prospect, they will be open to listening to your presentation about your business.
BUT, even if they do not join you in your business you have still made a small income off of the sales of the affiliate products. That is at the heart of every residual income business. You have to make money off of the leads that do not join your business to survive in this industry.
