How To Use Web 2.0 To Generate Free Leads
Let’s begin by simply defining Web 2.0…according to Wikipedia :
“The term “Web 2.0” describes the changing trends in the use of World Wide Web technology and web design that aim to enhance creativity, communications, secure information sharing, collaboration and functionality of the web. Web 2.0 concepts have led to the development and evolution of web culture communities and hosted services, such as social-networking sites, video sharing sites, wikis, blogs, and folksonomies”
Translated, this means that Web 2.0 is the collection of various forms of websites such as video hosting, online socializing, blogging, articles, mini websites and social bookmarking.
Now, I must confess that I do not fully agree with the term “free leads” since the list below involves a great deal of work on your part in order to see results. But, for the sake of this article, it does apply since we are covering marketing and traffic generation methods other than paid advertising such as Google pay per click or banner advertising.
If you are currently using the internet to market your business opportunity, such as your company generated website, pay per click advertising, banner advertising and ads on joint venture websites, you are merely scratching the surface of how the internet can help you grow your business. Plus, all of these things cost you money.
What I have done is complied a list of the many, many options you have to brand yourself and to generate interest (leads) into your home based business opportunity:

- You Tube

Mini Authority Websites: These are powerful methods to market your business…again for free.

- and there are several others

- StubmleUpon

- Technorati
- Digg
- again, there are several more
Now you may be saying “Well thanks, but what the heck do I do now, how do I use these sites?” Good question.
Over the next few days…weeks, I will be breaking these internet marketing strategies down and providing direction for you to execute each tool.
Stay tuned.
